THE CONNECTION

AN EMERGING MINISTRY FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS

   All eight Prebyterian(USA) churches in Manatee County have committed to participating in a new ministry for our youth.  It is a weekly meeting of youth, parents, family members, pastors, lay people, musicians, poets, artists and others enthusiastic and interested in coming together around the mission of Jesus Christ.

     Each Sunday, THE CONNECTION will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, (3001 19th Ave. West, Bradenton).  A time for open gym and recreation will begin at 6:00 p.m. before things really get moving.  All youth and young adults, as well as their families, are invited to join in.  You don't have to be Presbyterian.  All are welcome.

There are lots of areas that you might be able to help make this new program a fun and exciting ministry for all involved.  We're looking for support in the areas of music, drama arts, visual arts, crafts, technology support and small group leaders.  For more information on THE CONNECTION, contact Laura Lewis, Diana Shoemaker, or our own Kirkwood youth Lindsay Lewis, Devin Shoemaker or Maria Panico.
